Financial Assistance Guidelines

For more than 100 years, Good Samaritan Hospital has provided quality medical services regardless of a patient's ability to pay. We know the financial burden that an unexpected medical emergency can put on a family, which is why we do our best to find the financial assistance needed and offer a variety of payment plans from which to choose. We work closely with the patient and members of the patient's immediate family, and consider personal history. Factors, including family income and number of dependents, help us determine assistance needed.

Financial assistance applies only to the services the patient has received from the hospital and not from other affiliated sources, such as anesthesiologist, radiologist or other physicians on the hospital's active medical staff. for those services, you would be billed directly from their billing offices.

How to apply for financial assistance

The last thing you want to worry about while you're recuperating from an illness, accident or injury, is how to pay your medical bills. Good Samaritan Hospital makes it easy to apply for financial assistance. If you feel you meet the requirements for financial assistance, or have more than five members in your household, a patient accounts representative will be glad to work with you in this request.
