MRI

Many medical conditions start out so tiny that they are unable to be viewed with the human eye.  That’s why we employ the latest technology, like Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), to peer directly into the body.  This gives us an unobstructed view, even in areas that are typically hidden by bone, providing you with a valuable weapon in early detection.

MRI is a valuable and painless diagnostic test that allows our doctors to see inside most areas of the body.  Unlike CT scans, MRI uses no X-rays or radiation but rather combines the naturally occurring force of a magnetic field with radio waves to provide crystal clear digital image from the inside of your body in both 2- and 3-D.

Areas of the body which may undergo an MRI scan include the head, chest, abdomen, vital organs, joints, spine or extremities such as hands, wrists, ankles and feet.  Our highly sophisticated scanners also have capability to diagnose diseases of blood vessels in the brain, neck, and body.
