Radiation therapy is one of the most common treatments for cancer and is used in more than half of all cancer cases. Our interdisciplinary approach includes the latest in diagnostic radiology, interventional radiology, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, rehabilitative therapies as well as skilled nursing services, infusion services, and hospice team.
Our Radiation Oncology Department utilizes a modern simulator and 3-D computerized treatment planning. We have one of the most advanced linear accelerators in the state for administering radiation therapy. Its precision limits the amount of radiation to healthy tissue surrounding the tumor, and greatly reduces side effects.
