Good Samaritan Hospital uses the most advanced surgical techniques and state-of-the-art equipment/technology for a wide range of specialties offered at the hospital. Registered nurses and technical staff work with Physicians to deliver the highest quality surgical care.

Good Samaritan’s Radiology Department maintains the PACs systems in the surgery area so surgeons can view x-rays and images of the patient on a computer while performing surgery.

Same Day Surgery Center

Our Same Day Surgery Center offers minimally invasive procedures, enabling you to recover quickly in the comfort of your own home, and get back to your life.

Pre-admission Testing (PAT)

If you are scheduled for surgery at Good Samaritan Same Day Surgery Center your surgeon may order a pre-admission testing visit or phone call. An appointment may be made at your convenience three to seven days prior to surgery. During the appointment a nurse reviews your personal surgery instructions such as arrival time and when to stop eating or drinking, and completes a nursing assessment. Blood work, EKG, chest x-ray, and any other necessary tests are also completed. Pre-admission testing provides a less stressful time for patients and family members to get answers to questions, receive information and have testing done before the day of surgery.
