The Willows - Intensive Youth Services
Offered through the Samaritan Center, The Willows was established to meet the needs of area young people and their family members on an outpatient basis. Staff psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, nurses, counselors, case managers, and activity therapists offer young people and their families an opportunity to gain control of their lives through specialized programs, therapy, workshops and more.
When Problems Occur
Today's young people face challenging and complex problems they may not be prepared to handle without professional intervention. Warning signs that often indicate problems include family arguments, low grades, conflicts with peers, depression and anxiety, alcohol or drug abuse, aggression, thoughts of suicide, anger, hyperactivity, and stress related to loss, abuse or neglect.
The Willows offers focused services for problems that do not respond to conventional treatments or for problems that pose a risk to another's well being and include:
- Diagnostic Evaluations
- Individual and Family Therapy
- Group Therapy
- Outpatient Psychiatric Nursing
- Medical Psychiatric Services
- Outpatient Nursing Care
- Community Education/Workshop
- Family Preservation
- Psychological Testing
The Willows also offers a variety of specialized programs including wrap-around services, an adolescent day treatment program, and intensive home-based services.
The Willows accepts most company and individual insurance plans, and is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, Managed Care Provider Hoosier Assurance Plan, and affiliated with Good Samaritan Hospital.
