Good Samaritan's Auxiliary Manager, Ali McCrary, said the partnership between the Auxiliary and the Vincennes Animal Shelter reflects the hospital's commitment to strengthening community bonds and working together to make a positive impact. "It was a great day, and we are very excited to be fulfilling the Good Samaritan mission by strengthening community partnerships, as well as providing family-friendly entertainment for our community while also supporting the Auxiliary's mission to raise funds for patient care initiatives," she added.

The success of this event is a testament to the power of collaboration and community support. It showcases the ability of like-minded organizations to come together, have a great time and make a difference in the lives of both pets and people.

“Good Samaritan Auxiliary and the Vincennes Animal Shelter extend their heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated, attended and supported this event,” added McCrary. ”Your contributions have made a tangible impact on our community and we look forward to many more collaborative efforts in the future.” McCrary added that the pet costume party will become an annual event with next year’s scheduled for October 5, 2024.
