Good Samaritan Center for Wound Healing: A Decade of Excellence in Advanced Wound Care

The Good Samaritan Center for Wound Healing proudly commemorates its 10th anniversary, marking a decade of exceptional service in wound management and advanced therapies. Since its inception, this cutting-edge facility has been a beacon of hope for individuals struggling with non-healing and complex wounds.

With a dedicated multidisciplinary team of skilled professionals, including specialized physicians and nurses in wound management and hyperbaric medicine, the Good Samaritan Center for Wound Healing continues to be at the forefront of innovative care.

The numbers tell a compelling story of our commitment to healing:

  • Over 8,580 hyperbaric oxygen patients have benefited from our HBO visits.
  • A remarkable 33,564 wound care visits have been made to our facility over the past decade.

“Determining whether you require advanced wound treatment can be crucial for your well-being,” stated Good Samaritan Podiatrist, Derek Besing, DPM. “While most wounds typically begin healing within a couple of weeks, non-healing and infected wounds can pose serious health risks. These wounds often serve as indicators of underlying medical conditions that demand attention.”

The Good Samaritan Center for Wound Healing is conveniently located on the third floor of the Good Samaritan Health Pavilion and is open to serve you from Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The office can be reached at 812-885-6780.
