Georgios Tavoulareas, MD

About Georgios

Georgios comes to us from the city of Athens, Greece where he grew up. He completed his medical training at the University of Athens. During his training he was awarded the “Antonios Papadakis Scholarship” for his academic excellence. He is the author of a peer reviewed publication and an international poster presentation. After graduation in 2020, Georgios completed military service as a physician with the Greek army, working as a primary care physician for servicemen and families, as well as assisting with the military response to the COVID pandemic. Currently he is completing research on targeted immunotherapies in patients with sepsis at the Laboratory of Immunology of Infections at the University of Athens. In his free time, Georgios enjoys playing basketball, hiking and watching movies.
