Niamh McKee, MB,BCh

About Niamh

Nianh’s hometown is Ontario, Canada. She attended Queen’s University. During the COVID-19 pandemic she organized vaccination clinics for the elderly and throughout her tenure at NUIG she worked as a “Teddy Bear Doctor” introducing medical equipment and procedures to at-risk youth. She participated in SimWars, a highly prestigious simulated emergency medicine competition in which she competed against top teams from medical schools across Ireland. where she helped her team advance to the semi-finals. An author of three peer revered presentations and publications, she is an accomplished pianist, earning multiple honors from the Royal Conservatory of Music in Canada. She loves to create art including pencil drawing, watercolor, and acrylic paints. She worked alongside paramedics, receiving training essential for front line emergency services. However, she wanted the more holistic approach to medical care that internal medicine brings.
