Same Day Surgery Center

Our Same Day Surgery Center offers minimally invasive procedures, so you'll recover faster and be able to get back to your life quickly.

Good Samaritan Hospital's Same Day Surgery Center was designed with our patients and physicians in mind. The impressive 30,000 square foot, two-story medical facility offers a truly warm, inviting atmosphere for patients and their families. It also provides a wonderfully high-tech setting that satisfies the surgeons' needs for improved efficiencies and allows them to better meet the clinical needs of their patients.

Built to meet our community's growing demand for outpatient services, the Same Day Surgery Center was designed with input from the hospital's surgeons and surgical staff. It includes centralized registration, pre-op holding areas, up to four surgical suites, two minor procedure rooms, and immediate post-recovery areas. Valet parking is offered for our patients' convenience.

The Same Day Surgery Center is connected to the hospital. This gives our patients' families the convenience of one centralized location for care and amenities including the cafeteria, snack shop and Gift Shoppe. It also gives them the assurance that if something unexpected occurs, the appropriate medical personnel are readily available to handle a full range of medical emergencies.

Pre-Admission Testing (PAT)

If you are scheduled for surgery at Good Samaritan Same Day Surgery Center, your surgeon may order pre-admission testing (PAT). PAT appointments should be made three to seven days prior to surgery. During your appointment, a nurse will review special instructions with you and complete an assessment. Any blood work, EKGs, chest x-rays, or other necessary tests will also be completed. Pre-admission testing ensures patients are well-prepared and informed before the day of surgery. A Place of Healing

A Healing Garden, located between the Same Day Surgery Center and the Health Pavilion, is a beautifully landscaped place for personal reflection or a peaceful stroll. It's become a tranquil retreat for patients, family and friends, as well as hospital staff members.
