Good Samaritan Named One of the 100 Greatest Community Hospitals in the Country
In a recent edition of
Becker’s Hospital Review, Good Samaritan was named one of the 100 Greatest Community Hospitals
in the country. This recognition is based on community hospitals’
accolades, quality and service to their communities. The
Becker’s Hospital Review, an up-to-date business and legal news publication relating to hospitals
and health systems, selected hospitals based on rankings and awards from
iVantage Health Analytics, Truven Health Analytics, CareChex and the American
Hospital Association.
“Receiving this recognition means so much to us,” stated Rob
McLin, President and CEO of Good Samaritan. “Becker’s Hospital Review is a distinguished publication among health care institutions. Being one
of the 100 greatest hospitals in the country, is a huge honor and I am
very proud to be a part of such an incredible organization.”
Community hospitals are considered to have less than 550 beds and many
are found in rural areas where they serve as the only hospital in their
communities. Good Samaritan was recognized for continuously working to
provide quality care and a positive patient experience that they deserve.
