Good Samaritan Clinical Informatics and Education Department to Host CPR/AED Course for Area Youth

Good Samaritan will be hosting a free Heartsaver CPR/AED course for individuals in the community. This program is being provided by Good Samaritan’s Clinical Informatics and Education Department’s Nursing Professional Development Specialists.

The course will provide participants with a Heartsaver CPR/AED certification after successful completion. Topics covered will include one and two person rescue, the use of an AED machine, as well as adult, infant and child CPR. Those wishing to participate and take the course must be 14 years-of-age or older.

The certification class will take place in the Eva Hill Auditorium, located on the third floor of Good Samaritan’s Health Pavilion on Friday, June 9, 2017 from 12-5 p.m. Complimentary refreshments and snacks will be served.

This certification will provide individuals with the knowledge of how to act in an emergency situation and equip them with skills that could help save a life.
