Student Shadowing Program

Good Samaritan’s Shadowing Program is an observation-only experience for students age 16 and older.  While this program does not allow for hands-on patient care, it does provide students with an excellent opportunity to learn about a specific occupation in the health-care setting.

Good Samaritan is proud to provide a wide variety of shadowing experiences in many departments, including Radiology, Physical Medicine, Nursing, Dietetics, Biomedicine and Pharmacy. Students will have ample time to observe processes and procedures and to ask questions of our highly trained staff.

Interested students may contact the Shadowing Coordinator in the Clinical Informatics and Education Department at (812) 885-3856 to schedule a shadowing experience.
