Amir Sheth, MD

About Amir

Amir is a native of Louisville, Kentucky. He majored in Music and Philosophy at Centre College in Danville, Kentucky, and earned his MS in Anatomical Sciences and Neurobiology at the University of Louisville. During medical school, Amir’s research included the ‘Incidence and analysis of benign and cancerous breast lesions in Grenada’, a coauthored poster presentation for the American Society of Preventative Oncology, Tucson, AZ. He served in SGU’s AMSA chapter, participating in health fairs and social projects for the local community, and was president of SGU’s Musicians’ Collective which advocates the power of music in enhancing the lives of others and conducts fundraising activities for charitable organizations. In addition to English, he has conversational medical proficiency in Spanish. Amir’s personal interests include music performance (guitar, bass, violin, mandolin, percussion), building computers, philosophy, and cooking. As time permits, he tutors his fellow students in basic sciences and USMLE preparation.
