About Ana
Ana is a native of Santa Rosa, California. Her undergraduate studies were at the Dominican University of California, where she majored in Cell and Molecular Biology. She has done research on chemotherapy-induced cardiotoxicity. Her many volunteer activities include Habitat for Humanity, where she helped build houses for families in need. She eventually moved on to work in the Restore. She has also volunteered for Be the Match, educating potential bone marrow donors. She enjoys operas, concerts, and plays. When she wants to clear her mind and reflect, she likes to exercise, especially swimming. She is determined to be of service to patients with little or no access to health care.
