About Andre

Andre is a Chicago native. His undergraduate degree in Nutrition was earned at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Andre has a long-standing interest in research; recently he is working on a RSNA case collection project where he is a first author. He has an interest in exploring different cultures and film. Prior to medical school he worked for the UIC Office of Sustainability, creating videos that addressed UIC conservations efforts, such as recycling, gardening, and making Chicago more “green” as an institution. He is an active member of the University of Illinois College of Medicine Urban Health Program (COM-UHP) which aims to develop underrepresented racial/ethnic minority health care professionals, faculty, and researchers with the goals of eliminating health disparities and advancing health equity. Andre enjoys creative writing and music creation.
