About Anthony

Anthony hails from Byblos, Lebanon. He completed his undergraduate education at Lebanese American University, receiving a degree in biology. He traveled to London to attend medical school at St. George’s University. He spent some of his third year of medical school in Baltimore, where he participated in research that resulted in a publication and national conference presentation. His interest in medicine started early, and he gravitated toward activities that involved care and public service. In college, he participated in a program that taught high school students about democracy, diplomacy and public speaking. During a rotation in Baltimore, he discovered his “inner hospitalist” and his interest in internal medicine. His ultimate career goal is hematology-oncology, and he hopes to practice in a rural area. He enjoys cooking, reading, travel, hiking and debating.
