Cameron started in Chandler, IN, but grew up in Newburgh, IN, and hopes to return to practice radiology. He studied Chemistry and Classics at Wabash College in Crawfordsville. The study of classics sharpened his ability to think critically and break any problem into its minutiae. This was accomplished through translating and composing Latin, deconstructing political and religious landscapes two millennia in the past, and even decrypting ancient Roman and Greek architecture. Cameron designed the first student-made curriculum in the history of Indiana University School of Medicine, creating a COVID-19 course that is now a core rotation for 3rd and 4th-year students. Cameron has a strong interest in medical education. He wrote a literature review describing the benefits of integrating the Socratic Method into diagnostic radiology residency programs. He enjoys cycling, traveling, journal club with friends, rock climbing, and hiking with his dogs.
