About Elizabeth
Elizabeth is originally from Maspeth in Queens, New York. She earned her Bachelors in Economics from Boston University and her Master's Degree from New York University. She has had multiple publications before and during medical school. Her work included bench research and clinical topics such as the economics of IV placement and prospective review of cardiac Troponin I for acute myocardial infarction in ER patients. Elizabeth has been a contributing author and editor for a team project on health inequalities in underserved communities of Aboriginal and Torre Strait Islanders in Australia. She and her group were awarded an Examiner's Choice Award for excellence for their work in a student-led Symposium for Indigenous Health. Elizabeth enjoys aerial acrobatics and aerial yoga, crafting, (knitting and most recently creating greeting cards and scrapbooking), Korean pop music, Korean dramas and fostering shelter animals.
