About:

Cassandra Lacher, DO, MHA, love for science and people led her to becoming a physician. “I've come to appreciate that the specialty of hematology and oncology really allows me to do all the things that I love,” said Dr. Lacher. “I am able to care for people during vulnerable and difficult times, manage complicated illnesses, evaluate for underlying genetic predispositions, provide people with the support they need to meet their goals, and provide comfort and hope even in the most dark and scary situations.” Becoming a part of the community and the Good Samaritan family was an obvious choice for Dr. Lacher and her family. She is impressed with the relationships between all members of the patient’s care team and the emphasis placed on quality of life in managing patient disease processes. Dr. Lacher and her husband, Marcus, reside in Vincennes with their two sons and dogs. When she is not seeing patients, Dr. Lacher enjoys being involved with her church, singing and playing the bass guitar, playing board games, spending time with her family and watching St. Louis Cardinals games.

Treated me like a part of the team. Listened to my needs. Was very informative.
Everyone in office was very efficient.
Dr. Lacher heled immensity with getting me to understand what I was actually allergic to as far as testing. It's the first time a Physician actually took the time to walk me through the different type's of dye's are used and for what. I really appreciated the time she took with my wife and I going over the readings, etc.
I had all the confidence in the world meeting her for the first time and she was very happy, very pleasant and asked all the right questions and gave me all the right answers. Thank you very much.
Everyone involved with my visit was professional, courteous, caring, and made me feel much better about my diagnosis. Don't know how the hospital gets these employees but please keep the ones I was seen by.
I love her bedside manner, she listens and is on top of the situation.
Dr Lacher ordered Octreoride scans to be performed by the Nuclear Medicine department. One of her staff called to make the appointments while I waited. I'm very disappointed with NM's apparent lack of concern and/or flexibility in scheduling the scans to work around my needs. I reluctantly agreed to the scheduled appointments, but am still debating what to do.
She is very caring and listens to what you have to say.
the staff is very professional and always makes me feel welcome and answers all my questions.
It was wonderful. She did everything, asked all kinds of questions and I understood clearly and she was very informative and knew everything about me.
