Cassandra Lacher, DO, MHA, love for science and people led her to becoming a physician. “I've come to appreciate that the specialty of hematology and oncology really allows me to do all the things that I love,” said Dr. Lacher. “I am able to care for people during vulnerable and difficult times, manage complicated illnesses, evaluate for underlying genetic predispositions, provide people with the support they need to meet their goals, and provide comfort and hope even in the most dark and scary situations.” Becoming a part of the community and the Good Samaritan family was an obvious choice for Dr. Lacher and her family. She is impressed with the relationships between all members of the patient’s care team and the emphasis placed on quality of life in managing patient disease processes. Dr. Lacher and her husband, Marcus, reside in Vincennes with their two sons and dogs. When she is not seeing patients, Dr. Lacher enjoys being involved with her church, singing and playing the bass guitar, playing board games, spending time with her family and watching St. Louis Cardinals games.

This was my first time meeting Dr Lacher. She listened to my concerns and took her time with me. I felt at ease with her, and hope she will continue here with my future care!
I saw Dr. Lacher for the first time. I had heard good things about her and I thought she was very good. Glad to have her at Good Sam.
She was very nice and knew what she was talking about. I really like her
Yes, I spent some time over there being treated for cancer and everyone from the parking valet right up to the doctor, the radiation people. Everyone was just absolutely wonderful. They were they were knowledgeable, answered any questions. I had told me what to do if I had more questions, and I just couldn't think of a better place I would go for any treatment at all that that is supplied by your hospital. Thank you.
Dr. Lacher is very considerate friendly and seems to know what she's doing was very helpful. I like her and would be happy to recommend her to anyone. Thank you.
I spent 13 Days down there in your rehab. I have been with Dr. Bartlett and I have been with Dr. Lacher. I have been treated like a king. Whenever they told me to come I was there and they were ready for me. I have no problems at all. No problems at all. I would gladly come back if I need to.
Very professional and has a great bedside manner
I've been very pleased with all my care I got at Good Samaritan. Dr. Lachner, Dr. Fleischman, Dr. Gebhard all did.....treated me wonderfully, explained everything to me the way I could understand. I recommend Good Samaritan cancer facilities for anyone. Thank you.
I very much resented having to go through quote the cancer center. When are unable to see the hematologist. I think that's awkward and just not a good way to do things. I've I did not like that and I would not recommend this facility or doctor for that reason alone.
