About Robert

Robert has taken a circuitous route to medical school. He obtained an undergraduate degree in Biology from Drury University in Springfield, Missouri. Robert holds a Doctorate Degree (PhD) in Medical Physiology, which demonstrates his life-long dedication and focus on academia. Before attending medical school, he served as an Assistant Professor at Missouri State University in the Biomedical Sciences Department. His interest in Physiatry incorporates his passion for musculoskeletal anatomy, the physical examination, and radiologic imaging. Robert is involved in service activities that benefit his community. He embraced the challenges of medical school while raising a family of 3 children (5, 3, 1 year) with his amazing wife, Emily.
