Amy Scamman, FNP

  • Nurse Practitioner

Working as a nursing instructor at Wabash Valley College, Amy Scamman, FNP, noticed that she missed caring for patients, so she decided to go back to school to become a nurse practitioner. “I had previously worked at Good Samaritan several years ago. It was extremely hard for me to leave that position as this facility is like family,” said Amy. “So when this opportunity presented itself, it was basically a no brainer for me. It was like coming home.” When she is not caring for patients, Amy and her husband, Andy, enjoy watching hockey and visiting their daughter, Hannah, who is a freshman at the University of Tampa.
