About:
A native of Kentucky, Kimberly is a graduate of the University of Kentucky
Medical School. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology from
Transylvania University in 2014. Kimberly has been heavily involved in
community volunteer activities such as being a peer support mentor for
students at UK College of Medicine, treating patients in the Salvation
Army Medical Clinic, volunteering with UK Big Sibling Program, Planned
Parenthood, and the Humane Society where she fosters animals. Her hobbies
include reading, volunteering, cooking, and advocacy work at the local
and state level on issues involving mental health de-stigmatization, and
increasing health services for vulnerable populations. She has a clinical
passion for women’s mental health, the effects of trauma on children
and addictions work.
