About: From Naperville IL, Andrew earned his BA from Rice University in Biochemistry
and Cell Biology. Andrew was a 2017 Schweitzer Fellow and received a grant
to implement a healthcare service project in an underserved community.
He partnered with Erie Neighborhood House, a local nonprofit, and expanded
an early childhood health literacy program to serve over 150 new students.
Andrew was the consulting chair in the Business of Medicine club, where
he implemented an experiential learning program that paired medical students
with innovation and QI projects at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
He also planned and hosted the inaugural Future of Medicine Summit in
2018 that brought together Illinois’ medical schools and Chicago’s
innovation community to discuss medical entrepreneurship. His favorite
things include current events, consumer tech, corgis, live streaming,
and pour-over coffee.
