About Veronica

Veronica’s hometown is Los Altos, California. She is the daughter of two physicians and remembers dinner conversations about the role of cholesterol in atherosclerosis. She received her undergraduate degree in Biophysics (with honors) from Scripps College in Claremont, California. She has a longstanding interest in health policy and participated in the Health Policy Scholarly Concentration in medical school. Veronica completed an internship with the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) Office of Policy over the summer after first year and works as a part-time medical writer preparing clinical research documents for FDA review. She hopes to apply her clinical knowledge at a position in a policy-related organization. Her hobbies include pion and flute, running and hiking and memorizing pi.
