Good Samaritan’s Commitment

Mission

Provide excellent health care by promoting wellness, education and healing through trusting relationships.

Vision

To be the regional center of excellence in health care to support the communities we serve.

Core PRIDE Values

Patient - Respect - Integrity - Dedication - Excellence

Good Samaritan is a regional health care provider serving a 11-county area in southwestern Indiana and southeastern Illinois, encompassing more than 230,000 people. In 1908, we opened our doors to serve our community’s health needs and we remain a financially stable independent healthcare system. Over the years, that single building has become many, as we have responded to changing medical needs and the area’s growth. One thing has never changed - our mission to serve. Our mission is put into action every day by dedicated health care professionals, caregivers and volunteers. From our main hospital campus to outpatient clinics and specialty offices, the vision of Good Samaritan is to continue providing patient-focused medicine where we treat everyone as family.

Community Services and Outreach

Good Samaritan’s growth into a regional health care system ensures care is right around the corner to meet patient needs. Internal Medicine and Psychiatry residency programs also raise the bar for cutting edge technology & services. While the main hospital campus continues to grow to meet demand, so does the number of resources accessible to residents in surrounding communities. Good Samaritan is truly bringing quality healthcare home!

Convenient Care

Good Samaritan Convenient Care Clinics offers patients diagnostic services and medical care for minor illnesses and injuries. Due to overwhelming growth, we now have two locations offering extended hours and weekends to better serve our patients.

Behavioral Health Services

The Samaritan Center consists of Behavioral Health physicians and services covering multiple surrounding counties with a focus on collaborative care between primary care physicians and behavioral health providers. In an effort to enhance outreach and improve patient access and outcomes, a mobile unit also brings care into the community. The Samaritan Center is certified by the National Health Service Corp, accredited by The Joint Commission, and licensed by the Indiana Division of Mental Health and Addiction.

Good Samaritan provides more than just health care; it is a compassionate family of skilled caregivers working toward a common goal of healing our patients.
