The Medical School Achievement Program is a highly competitive scholarship awarded through an application process. Talented and ambitious medical students from are encouraged to apply. In addition to the scholarship, students selected to participate in the program as a “Samaritan Scholar” will have the opportunity to learn with a Good Samaritan Physician Mentor.

The criteria for the scholarship are as follows:

  1. Students must be accepted or currently enrolled in an accredited medical school.
  2. Students will be asked to include personal information including: date of birth, address, work and community service experience, proof of financial need and any recognitions/awards the student has received.
  3. Applicants will be required to provide a written statement/essay stating their reason for entering the field of medicine.
