Good Samaritan Welcomes First Baby of 2026

Good Samaritan welcomed its first baby of 2026 on Thursday, January 1. Johanna Vanessa was the first baby to make her debut to the world at 8:41 a.m. on the Good Samaritan Obstetrics Unit.

Johanna weighed 8 pounds and 2 ounces and was 21 inches long. Her parents are Brian Berry and Tadala Mukula-Berry of Vincennes, Indiana. Johanna was delivered by Thalia Pachiyannakis, MD.

Johanna will be welcomed home by her two older brothers and sister. The family was presented with a large basket of baby essentials and gifts from Good Samaritan.
