About Brittany

Born and raised in Vincennes, Brittany Farmer, ACNP-BC, has always enjoyed working with patients in acute and intensive care. “I enjoy the complexity of acute care patients, which is why I knew working with vascular and thoracic patients would be a great fit,” she said. Brittany earned her Master's in Nursing from the University of Southern Indiana and her Clinical Nurse Specialist Master's Degree from Ball State. She has been a registered nurse at Good Samaritan for many years and wanted to stay in Vincennes to raise a family after she became a nurse practitioner. Brittany wants her patients to know that she will be there to listen during every appointment and make sure they understand their health care. She and her husband, David, have three children; Brooklyn, Madison and Preston. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors with her family fishing, boating, camping, and going to sporting events like the St. Louis Cardinals baseball games. Her favorite health tip is telling her patients to take care of themselves first. “There are many people who rely on you and you can’t help others if you don’t help yourself.”
