About Evan

Evan Barnett is also no stranger Indiana or Evansville. Evan graduated with an undergraduate degree from the University of Evansville with a minor in studio art. They are coming to us from Indiana University School of Medicine Bloomington campus. During medical school, Evan took a special interest in art therapy, LGBTQ+ healthcare, and completed the human sexuality and health scholar concentration at Bloomington. They also lead the establishment of a student outreach clinic in Bloomington with a focus on LGBTQ+ competent healthcare. They volunteered at Jill’s house, memory care during medical school and organized a painting group for patients with dementia. For hobbies, they have many varied interests; taking a special interest in watercolor, illuminated manuscript creation, playing the violin, singing, and hiking with their partner. They enjoy houseplants and have a pet fish. We are happy to have them join us here in Vincennes!
