About Kourtney

Kourtney Benson, FNP-C, provides emergency care for patients of all ages at Good Samaritan, from pediatrics to geriatrics. In the emergency department, she helps treat a wide range of needs, from minor illnesses and injuries to life-threatening conditions, as part of a team serving a designated trauma and stroke center. Kourtney was inspired to pursue nursing at a young age after watching her aunt care for others, and she later continued her education to broaden the care she could provide. She values listening closely to patients’ concerns and meeting each person with compassion and a reassuring presence. Outside of work, Kourtney enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and being involved in farm life with her husband and children.
