About Leo
Dr. Leo Drozhinin is an interventional radiologist at Good Samaritan Hospital, specializing in minimally invasive procedures, including advanced cancer-related interventions. Originally from Russia, he immigrated to the United States in the late 1980s and spent nearly two decades in New York before relocating to Evansville, Indiana. He earned his undergraduate degree in biology and chemistry from MIT, completed his medical degree at the New York School of Medicine, followed by a radiology residency at NYU and a fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at Cornell University, with training at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Drozhinin chose interventional radiology for its ability to deliver precise, patient-centered care with faster recovery times and meaningful outcomes. He was drawn to Good Samaritan for its strong reputation, independence, and deep roots in the community, and he is committed to expanding its procedural capabilities while providing exceptional care to patients.
