Michael Carson, MD, is a hospitalist at Good Samaritan who provides comprehensive inpatient medical care for patients facing acute and complex conditions. He works closely with specialists, patients, and families to ensure clear communication, coordinated treatment, and smooth transitions from the hospital to home. Dr. Carson was drawn to medicine by the opportunity to care for people during some of life’s most challenging moments, and he values the meaningful connections that can be built during recovery. His patient care philosophy is compassionate, collaborative, and centered on helping each person feel informed, respected, and supported. He has a strong interest in managing complex conditions and delivering high-quality, evidence-based care. Outside of work, he enjoys home improvement projects, skiing, scuba diving, and caring for his many pets.
