About Antonio

Antonio Smith, MD, serves as a hospitalist at Good Samaritan, where he provides inpatient care with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency. In addition to caring for hospitalized patients, he brings experience in process improvement, clinical informatics, workflow optimization, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Dr. Smith views medicine through the lens of servant leadership and was inspired by the opportunity to create meaningful impact in communities with real needs. He believes strong care begins with connection, taking time at the bedside to understand patients and families so he can best support them. His professional interests include systems-level problem solving, health IT implementation, quality improvement, and clinician education. Outside of work, he enjoys working out, cooking, listening to jazz, and exploring programming and electronics.
