Event Details

Sessions 1–4 will be held in the OB Education Room, 5th Floor, Gibault Memorial, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. Each class is designed to guide expectant parents through pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum recovery, and newborn care.

The final session focuses on infant feeding and breastfeeding education and is taught by a certified lactation specialist.

Once you register, you will receive a confirmation text. A reminder will also be sent the week before the session begins.

Class topics include:

• January 20: Third trimester, discomforts of pregnancy, relaxation and breathing techniques, and a tour of the unit

• January 27: Labor and delivery, including pain management options

• February 3: What to expect postpartum and how to care for yourself after delivery

• February 10: What to expect with your newborn and newborn care

• February 17: Lactation and breastfeeding education taught by IBCLC Ava Wright
