Join Good Samaritan for Drug Take Back Day on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, from 4 to 7 p.m. EST at the hospital’s 6th Street entrance under the awning. This event offers a safe and convenient way to dispose of unwanted and expired medications while helping prevent misuse and protect the environment through proper disposal.

Accepted items include vitamins, prescription medications (Schedule II–V controlled and non-controlled substances), prescription patches, prescription ointments, pet medications, and over-the-counter medications.

Items not accepted include needles, inhalers, thermometers, aerosol cans, lotions, liquids, and hydrogen peroxide.
