Flu vaccine clinics are being offered by Good Samaritan for both adult
and pediatric patients this October.
The pediatric flu clinic is being offered to current patients of the Good
Samaritan Pediatric Office on Thursday, October 8 and Tuesday, October
20 from 5 to 7 p.m. (EST). The child must be six months or older and be
accompanied by a guardian or another adult given permission on the Consent
to Treat form. Patients need to bring their insurance cards and wear a
mask. Only flu shots will be given during the clinic. No routine vaccinations
will be available.
Those who arrive at the Pediatric Flu Clinic, located at 528 N. First Street
in Vincennes, will need to stay in their car and call 812-882-4434 upon
arrival to check in.
An additional flu vaccine clinic will be offered to patients 19 years and
older at the Good Samaritan 6th Street entrance, located at 520 S. Seventh Street in Vincennes, under the
green awning. This clinic will be drive-thru only and patients do not
have to be established patients with a Good Samaritan provider. Patients
are to wear a mask and bring their insurance card and identification.
The normal flu vaccine is $60, the high dose is $95 and the egg allergy
vaccine is $95. Patients can choose to self pay for the vaccine at the
time of service. The dates of the drive-thru clinic are:
Wednesday, October 14 – 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Thursday, October 15 – 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Saturday, October 17 – 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Tuesday, October 20 – 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Wednesday, October 21 – 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
