Good Samaritan Healthcare Academy Announces Future Healers Camp for Aspiring Young Healthcare Professionals

Good Samaritan Healthcare Academy is excited to announce the Future Healers Camp, a unique summer opportunity designed for all middle school students interested in exploring healthcare careers. This engaging and interactive camp will be held on June 12 and 13 from 12:30 to 5 p.m. each day at the Charles C. Hedde, MD Health Education Center.

The Future Healers Camp provides a hands-on learning experience where students can immerse themselves in various healthcare fields. Participants will have the chance to interact with a diverse group of healthcare professionals and gain insights into careers such as laboratory science, respiratory therapy, physical therapy, nursing, emergency medical services (EMS), and more.

"This will be a great opportunity for middle school students to get a first-hand look at some of the healthcare careers available at Good Samaritan," said Heidi Hinkle, Director of Professional Practice. "We hope that by attending our Future Healers Camp these students gain valuable knowledge that may attract them to enter a healthcare career field. We also hope that these students will stay connected to Good Samaritan during high school by taking part in our Healthcare Academy programs to be well prepared to thrive in the dynamic field of healthcare."

The registration fee for the camp is $25 per student. Interested parents can register their children by visiting the Good Samaritan Healthcare Academy registration link at gshvin.org/healthcare-academy.
