Jared Micho, MD

About Jared

From Rockford, IL, Jared attended the University of Iowa where he earned a BS in Human Physiology and an MS in Clinical Exercise Physiology. Jared worked in cardiac rehabilitation at the University of Iowa, where he took on a health provider role, including devising patient health management plans. This included teaching undergraduate students, constructing lesson plans, and leading classes of his own. Jared designed an IRB protocol focused on the role of RAAS modulators in CKD patients with concomitant heart failure, presented a patient case report at the New York Chapter of the American College of Physicians conference, and wrote about a new cardiac percussion technique. He also wrote a textbook chapter on cardiac ejection fraction. Jared enjoys hiking, running, biking, snowboarding, skiing, building PCs and video gaming, disc golfing, audiobooks and podcasts, cooking, and traveling.
