  • Pediatrics

Amber Neeley, NP-C, began her nursing career at Good Samaritan in the Pediatrics Unit in 1999. She then went on to become a vascular access specialist, to a nursing supervisor, and now a nurse practitioner. “After returning to school for my BSN, I decided I wanted to continue my education and become a nurse practitioner,” said Amber. “From a young age, I always wanted to be a provider. I never thought it would be possible, but as a result of online learning and the support of Good Samaritan, I have finally been able to achieve this goal.” Combined with her vast nursing experience and her love for caring for children, choosing to practice in pediatrics seemed like the best choice and she is excited to serve all children in the community. Amber and her husband, Larry, reside in Oblong, Illinois with their two daughters, Madison and Marissa. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family.

Very good provider, enjoyed the visit, and was very good while I was there, answered all my questions. Thank you.
Awesome service in the wake of all things going on with Corona virus pandemic
Yes, I really like the staff and I think Amber Neeley is great and the nurse as well. I think they're all very friendly and helpful. They get the girls in last minute if need be and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a pediatrician.
She was very genuine and thorough and she also wanted to follow up afterward to make sure or to see what the outcome was of the ear infection and I found that to be comforting. We really like her.
I never had a problem getting my son they always get my son in the same day I call If I have a question and call someone always calls me right back just love the care my son is always wanting to go..he never has a fit he just lover them I couldn't ask for a better doctor for my son
My experiences with the care our pediatrician provides our children has always been exceptional. The issues I have are with the way this office is run. They are never on time when we go here regardless of whether I scheduled in advance or that day. This particular visit we waited in the waiting room for 45 minutes before we even saw an exam room. Even knowing they were going to test my son for rsv and the flu which takes 15 minutes to develop according to the nurse but only took about 30 seconds for the swa
My docs my daughter's provider Amber is amazing. I love her so much there. However is, my two secretary's at the front desk that or just rude, and not nice when they're busy or they're frustrated. They're the people who type in when you come to the office. There's one one secretary with like short brown hair and she's just absolutely rude and not nice and you know people like that always give doctors like my daughter a bad name. Thanks.
