Insurance, Billing & Payment
We strive to provide the best overall experience for our patients, but
that doesn’t stop when you are discharged. Part of our commitment
is assisting you with financial concerns pertaining to your hospitalization.
Your hospital bill represents the charges for services you received at
Good Samaritan. If you have any questions or would like to have your bill
explained, please contact Patient Accounts at 812-885-3325.
Services provided by your physician or affiliated sources are not included
on your hospital bill. You will be billed directly from their billing
offices. For your convenience, you may pay your bill by Visa, MasterCard,
Discover, check, money order or cash.

We also accept Medicare, Medicaid, and all private insurance. We are a
provider of the following managed care plans:

Pre-qualification is available for planned procedures and surgeries. If
you have any questions about Managed Care plans, please call 812-885-3685.
The last thing you want to worry about while recuperating from an illness,
or rehabilitating from an accident or injury, is how to pay medical bills.
Good Samaritan understands and makes it easy to apply for such financial
assistance. If you feel you meet the requirements for financial assistance,
or have more than five members in your household, a representative will
be glad to work with you on this request. See the
