Good Samaritan Offering Flu Vaccine Clinics

The Good Samaritan Physician Network will be offering drive-through flu vaccine clinics for adults age 19 and older in the parking lot next to the Medical Center of Vincennes, 406 N. First Street in Vincennes. Patients can receive the flu vaccine on Thursday, October 6, from 5 to 7 p.m.; Saturday, October 8, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.; and Monday, October 10, from 5 to 7 p.m. A mask is optional while receiving the vaccine, and patients will need to have their ID and insurance card.

For those adults who cannot attend a designated clinic time, Community Health Services can also offer adults the flu vaccine by appointment. Call 812-885-8753 to schedule an appointment to receive the flu vaccine.

Good Samaritan Pediatrics is also organizing a flu vaccine clinic for patients at both of their locations. Medical Center of Vincennes Pediatrics will host flu clinics on October 6 and 13 from 4 to 6 p.m. Good Samaritan Physician Network Kids flu clinics will be October 4 and 26 from 4 to 6 p.m.

Masks are optional at all locations and patients need to have their insurance card and ID. Children must be patients of Good Samaritan Physician Network, be six months of age or older, and be accompanied by a guardian or another adult given permission on the Consent to Treat form. Only flu shots will be given. No routine vaccines will be available.
