About Jessica

Jessica hails originally from Bormio, Italy before moving to Florida and subsequently settling in the Midwest. She completed her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from Florida State University. Although initially interested in a career in surgery, Jessica has transitioned to internal medicine to pursue her love of human physiology, problem solving and connecting with her patients. Her research experience has resulted in several peer reviewed publications, including a book chapter on sacroiliac joint fusion and reviews on the quality of reporting in surgical trials. Her other interests include running, yoga, biking, cooking, reading, listening to podcasts, skiing, and ice-skating.
