Good Samaritan offers a unique environment to our physicians and their families. Our Medical staff tells us they love being able to practice what they refer to as “big-city medicine”, in the comforts of a smaller, close-knit community, where safety and strong school systems are everyday life. Good Samaritan is an organization filled with medical professionals who strive for innovation and technological advancement, while maintaining the small-town feel where physicians, advanced practice providers and the entire healthcare team, work together across disciplines and departments; accessible to each other and to their patients. One of the most rewarding aspects of practicing here is the pleasure of getting to know your patients and your colleagues!

Our physicians come from diverse backgrounds and have gathered here to positively impact patient care. The medical staff is self-governed with a Board of Providers who assist in implementing organizational decisions. Our progressive, quality-conscious medical staff, supported by 1800 skilled and dedicated employees and complemented by 200 volunteers, work selflessly 24/7/365 to provide evidence-based care to advance the healing process.

We invite you take a closer look at Good Samaritan. Tour the hospital and speak with leadership, caregivers and providers who practice here. We are proud to call Knox County our home and hope that you will consider calling it “home” too!
