Provide excellent health care by promoting wellness, education and healing through trusting relationships.
To be the regional center of excellence in health care to support the communities we serve.
Patient - Respect - Integrity - Dedication - Excellence
Good Samaritan is a regional health care provider serving a 11-county area in southwestern Indiana and southeastern Illinois, encompassing more than 230,000 people. In 1908, we opened our doors to serve our community’s health needs. Over the years, that single building has become many, as we have responded to changing medical needs and the area’s growth. But one thing has never changed - our mission to serve. Our mission is put into action every day by dedicated health care professionals, caregivers and volunteers. From our main hospital campus to outpatient clinics and specialty offices, the vision of Good Samaritan has always been patient-focused.
We Pride Ourselves On:
“After talking with other local physicians and visiting Good Samaritan, I realized this is top-notch facility. It provides quality care to patients and has almost everything a large hospital would have. As far as technology goes, for a community this size, Good Samaritan is second to none.”
Scott Keyes, MD – Board Certified Family Medicine Physician
The Good Samaritan Physician Network offers patients a variety of both primary and specialty care physician services. Whether the need is acute or chronic, a routine check-up or follow up from surgery; one thing is for sure – Good Samaritan’s growth into a regional health care system ensures care is right around the corner to meet patient needs. Good Samaritan offers 18 outpatient clinics in five neighboring communities within a 20 mile radius. While the main hospital campus continues to grow to meet demand, so does the number of resources accessible to residents in surrounding communities. No need to make a trip to the hospital; your local hometown physician can provide Good Samaritan services without the drive to Vincennes.
“I decided to practice with Good Samaritan because it is an excellent facility with high standards of compassionate care that is patient-centered.
Amy Archer, DO – Board Certified Family Medicine Physician
