Beginning Saturday, May 9th the Good Samaritan Convenient Care Clinic will
be resuming all acute care services at 1813 Willow Street for same-day,
acute care patients, but utilizing a stop, park and call process.
Good Samaritan Physician Network Director of Clinical Services, Jamie Frederick,
FNP-C, said this process is being implemented to maintain social distancing
strategies which limit the potential transmission of illness by keeping
patients out of the waiting area. This also allows patients to remain
in the comfort of their own vehicle until it is time for them to be seen.
“When a patient needs to come to the Convenient Care Clinic for an
acute care health need, they must stay in their vehicle and call the clinic
to check in,” Frederick said. “When it is time for the patient
to be seen by a provider, the clinic will call the patient and instruct
them to enter the building to be seen in an exam room. In some cases,
especially for those with respiratory symptoms, the provider may come
to the patient’s vehicle to complete the health care visit.”
Frederick said that those with respiratory illness may continue coming
to this clinic location for assessment, however, the drive through triage
will no longer be set up. All patients, including respiratory patients
must park and then call the clinic to check in. The phone number to check

The Convenient Care Clinic hours are Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 7
p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
