Good Samaritan's Convenient Care Clinic in Williams Bros. Health Care Pharmacy to Reopen

Good Samaritan will be reopening the new Convenient Care Clinic inside Williams Bros. Health Care Pharmacy in Vincennes located at 1216 Washington Avenue on June 1. The clinic is overseen by nurse practitioner, Theresa Hutchison, and certified medical assistant, Kaycee Rich. The clinic will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday to meet the non-emergent acute needs of the community.

In an effort to protect staff and patients, the clinic will be utilizing a “Stop, Park and Call” method at this time. Please pull into a designated parking spot and call 812-885-6960. Patients that are experiencing respiratory symptoms are asked to go to the Convenient Care Clinic located at 1813 Willow Street, Suite 3A in Vincennes.

“We were excited to open our second Convenient Care location this past March, but unfortunately had to close it due to the spread of coronavirus,” said Adam Thacker, Chief Operating Officer. “We have reopened all services within the hospital, and we are now working on opening our off-site clinics. We are taking every precaution to ensure that any patient that walks into our facilities, including our Convenient Care Clinics, will be safe.”

The Convenient Care Clinic in Williams Bros. provides diagnostic services and treatment for minor injuries and illnesses. The conditions typically cared for are: common illnesses; allergic reactions; asthma (mild to moderate wheezing); general wound care; rashes/skin infections; simple burns and cuts; strains, sprains and simple fractures; vomiting, diarrhea and nausea; ear infections; insect bites; sore throats, colds, flu and fever; and urinary tract infections. Patients at the new clinic must be three years of age or older.
